Richard Staniland Consultant (OAM)

When Richard has conduct of your matter you receive the benefit of all the experience he has obtained since he was admitted to practice as a Lawyer in 1968. Richard is one of the founding partners of the firm, having started his career in a city firm which specialised in Local Government work.

Richard's main focus is in commercial property development, business advice, commercial negotiations and estate planning. He is a well respected practitioner within the legal community  and a lawyer of choice for many of our clients.

Richard has long been actively involved in community organisations that assist the elderly and was recognized for his efforts in 2015 when he was awarded the Order of Australia Medal (OAM). His roles with KOPWA (Ku-Ring-Gai Old Peoples Welfare Association) goes back to the mid-1970s, when he became the association’s honorary solicitor. Richard has been an honorary board member of Ku-ring-gai Meals On Wheels since 1995 and has served as its chairman.
