Robert Millard has practised exclusively in family law since joining Fox & Staniland in 2016. Robert worked previously in conveyancing and property law when he was admitted to practice in 2015.
During what can be a challenging time in someone’s life, Robert is dedicated to providing thorough and practical advice while leading clients to a desirable outcome. Robert has a passion for work across a broad spectrum of Family Law matters, including complex property and parenting matters, and has developed expertise to best progress a client’s matter.
Robert is confident in navigating clients through negotiation, mediation and other alternate dispute resolution avenues as these are often preferable to resolving a parties’ dispute to minimise stress and discomfort. Robert is also a collaboratively trained lawyer should clients express an interest in resolving their dispute through that model.
However, when litigation is necessary Robert appears in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia and the Family Court of Australia.
Robert is admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Journalism and a Bachelor of Laws from Bond University. Robert is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales, the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, the Northern Suburbs Collaborative Practice Group and NS Young Lawyers, Family Law Section.
