Calvin Ye Lawyer

Calvin is a lawyer in Fox & Staniland's litigation team. He acts in commercial disputes, estate litigation, criminal matters and other contested proceedings.

Calvin joined Fox & Staniland Lawyers in 2022 while completing his law degree and has since progressed through the firm to become a lawyer. This experience has given him a strong understanding of the litigation process and the practical considerations involved in resolving disputes.

Calvin’s experience includes:

  • appearing in matters before the Local Court, District Court and Supreme Court of New South Wales, and the Federal Court of Australia;
  • acting in commercial disputes involving corporations, loans, trusts, investments, contractual obligations and unpaid debts;
  • acting in Supreme Court family provision and estate disputes, including contested claims, probate matters and mediations;
  • preparing applications, evidence, submissions and representations in criminal and Apprehended Violence Order proceedings as well as general civil claims in the Local and District Courts of New South Wales;
  • assisting with personal injury proceedings, professional negligence matters and property disputes.

Calvin takes a practical and detail-focused approach to his work. He is committed to helping clients understand the legal process, assess their available options and work towards an efficient and commercially sensible resolution.

Calvin was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2025 and is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales. He holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance, from the University of New South Wales.
